Friday, 13th October 2017 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

You need to bring proof of identification for each entrant.

If you are collecting for a friend, you need to bring a copy of their Identification too.

The gates to the Crazy event opens from 13h00 ensuring you have enough time before the race to warm up and get into the festive spirit. The 5 km run starts promptly at 14h30 and entrants will go out in waves of 7 minute intervals to ensure that you are all filled with as much colour as possible.

You can wear your running kit, a tutu, or even wear your bathing suit with your Jawitz Colour My Run 2017 T-shirt. Wearing white will mean the colour powder will all show up on you and you’ll look awesome! Just remember the colour powder can stain clothes – so be sure to not wear something you don’t want to ruin – it’s all about getting colourful!

Goggles, glasses, shirts, shorts, radiation suits or hospital gowns can be worn to protect you from the blast of colour in the Jawitz Colour My 2017 Run, and any stray UV rays from holes in the ozone overhead.

YES!! Of course we were…

This is non-toxic coloured starch and is 100% bio degradable, natural and SAFE. These blasts of starch will change your colour but never your level of wellness. But, yes wear sunglasses if you’ll feel more protected – just so long as they are colour crazy of course.

Mostly try avoid bringing valuables with you, the day is all about leaving our responsibilities behind anyway, but if you must, then items such as cameras and phones can be protected in the plastic bags. Most people bring some towels for the insides of their cars, just in case. It’s like driving home from the swimming pool in your swimsuit.

YES!!!

We are proud to support the Reach for a Dream Foundation and you should be too!

Yes and no, it takes a few washes to get the colour out. We suggest wearing clothes you don’t mind getting colourful. It might take a few washes to get it out of your hair, but just lather, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse and repeat. The blondes must take special care as the colour loves light hair.

Best way is to spray it with vinegar and then iron it.

Just try and finish before the sun goes down. We don’t even own a watch. At the finish line you’ll be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and memories to last you a lifetime!

No fluff allowed.

We’ll get coloured whether there’s rain or shine. If there is lightining, we’ll postpone the race until we have been in the clear for the 30 minutes. Check Facebook for weather status updates on race day.
